This piece is made with 14k Yellow Gold fill wire, featuring a wooden cabochon cut by the NW artist Ferg as the centerpiece. The wood has been ethically sourced from the Northern Cascades forest. Naturally green, the wood is infiltrated by the green cup fungus which turns the vine maple wood this beautiful color!
The wood should be handled with care and should not be left out in direct sunlight for too long as that will fade the green color over time. To preserve the wood I suggest a light application of teak oil every now and then.
